From Our Fields to Your Table

It all started with a simple belief: good food brings people together.

From the golden grain fields of Ethiopia in 1990, we watched the sun set over our homeland, inspired by generations of farmers who valued hard work and nature’s purity. But their families struggling to put nutritious food on their tables and we knew we had to act.

Qudwa is more than a business; it’s a mission to make wholesome food accessible to every Ethiopian home. While we bring quality products from around the world, we proudly feature local crops for nourishing both bodies and communities.

Since 1995, Qudwa Business PLC has been a family-driven enterprise rooted in Ethiopia’s rich agricultural heritage. What began as a small grain business has grown into a trusted name in essential food products, serving millions of households across the nation.

1995 - Our Foundation

After identifying a gap in the market, we established our company to provide high-quality foodstuff tailored to the needs of suppliers. This was the beginning of a journey focused on dedication and growth.

2005 - Expansion Begins

Our dedication paid off as we expanded our product lines, reaching new markets while maintaining our commitment to quality. This year marked a turning point in our growth.

2015 - A Decade of Trust

2. Platinum-Level Loyal Taxpayer Award – Oromia Regional Government (2013 E.C.) In 2013 E.C., we received one of the highest honors from the Oromia Revenue Bureau — the Platinum-Level Loyal Taxpayer Award. This prestigious recognition is awarded only to top-performing companies with exceptional compliance, high tax contribution, and exemplary business ethics. 3. Community Service Recognition – School Construction Support (Oromia Region) We were recognized by the Oromia Regional Government for our contribution to community development and social responsibility, particularly in supporting the construction of schools.
